Storytelling at JCPS

On Friday, January 23rd all of the Jack Callaghan Cougars were delighted by stories told by Storyteller Aubrey Davis. He had a captivated audience as he entertained our students and staff. I overheard one staff member say to Mr. Davis, “Thanks for the great stories. I found the morning extremely entertaining.” Students were leaving the library with big smiles and chatting about the stories they just had told to them.
Thanks to Ms. Ogilvie for her energy and enthusiasm in bringing storytelling alive at JCPS. Ms. Ogilvie applied for a grant through a program TLDSB trustees support (Program Enhancement Fund) and was able to secure money to being in storytellers to our school.
