Girls’ Sleepover

A group of grade 7 and 8 girls have been meeting regularly throughout the school year with Mrs. Corner and Madelle Hale. This group decided to continue the fun with a JCPS sleepover.

Friday, May 22nd was the night.  What a fun-filled night it was.  A homemade pizza and salad dinner started things off quite nicely. The girls painted a “be-you-tiful” sign. A bit of capture the flag and flashlight tag kept everyone active. There was no better way to end the night but with movies and munchies and as little sleep as possible.

Fruit parfaits, muffins, pancakes and juice got the girls off to a great start in the morning.

Thanks to the families for sending in some treats to be shared.

Thanks Mr. Graham for coming in on a Saturday morning to make sure the school was “spic and span” for Monday. The girls were great at cleaning up after themselves.

A HUGE thanks to Mrs. Corner and Mrs. Smith for making this sleepover possible by staying overnight at the school. Thank-you Madelle Hale for joining us for breakfast.

An opportunity for memories to be created that will last a lifetime.
