Within the week leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday, Monck Public School (MPS) students competed in a Turkey Trot.
During recess, participating students ran laps – each lap on the route earned a ballot to be entered into a draw to win one of 15 turkeys. The draw took place on October 11.
Thank you to the Independent Grocer, Food Basics, and Sobeys in Gravenhurst for generously donating the turkeys.
